Nestling in the heart of a picturesque village between Houffalize and Roche-en-Ardenne, Le Coeur de l�Ardenne is by far the smallest 3-star hotel of the Ardennes. This charming hotel offers the oldy-worldy local Wibrin style of the 19th century, now elegantly renovated into a warm and welcoming home.

In the intimate �dining room� we will serve you a copious breakfast of crusty rolls, fresh orange juice, a nice boiled egg and many other delights.

The lovely garden with its sunny terrace is a multicoloured oasis of flowers and plants, ideal for relaxing after a long walk.

In winter, in the drawing room by the fire, it is exquisite to spend time with family or friends.

Our five rooms, all with their little drawing room areas, are comfortably equipped with bath or shower, WC, hair drier, television, radio, telephone and minibar. You have free WiFi at your disposition.

We do not serve meals at the hotel but in the village and in the neighbourhood are many restaurants.

Wibrin is located in the “Parc Naturel des deux Ourthes”, a nature reserve that is priceless for its unique fauna and flora. Deer, stag and boar live peacefully together in our vast and deep forests. Recently, otter and beaver have been seen as welcome additions to our rivers. Nearby there are some historical towns such as Bastogne, site of the Battle of the Ardennes, Saint-Hubert, the European Capital of Hunting and Nature, or Roche-en-Ardenne with its impressive feudal castle. Just 3 kilometres from Wibrin there is Achouffe, which is famous for its delicious cottage-industry beer: Chouffe. The Upper Ourthe region, with its 450 kilometres of marked out walks, large forests, green valleys and typical villages, is a rambler’s land of dreams. You can also descend the Ourthe by kayak, do some dirt-track racing on the circuits in Houffalize, walk through the woods on horseback or indulge in some parasailing or rock-climbing. In winter, many cross-country ski pistes are available in the surrounding countryside and mountain ski enthusiasts can enjoy the Baraque de Fraiture, the second highest point of Belgium, to their hearts’ delight.
